We join our team leader and CEO, Lilian Kimeto, as she celebrates her first anniversary in office as the Accounting Officer of Kenya Yearbook Editorial Board. Over the past year, Kenya Yearbook has achieved significant milestones. On 11th July 2024 we launched our five Year Strategic Plan (2024-28), published the Olympics Souvenior: A 60-Year Journey of Medaling, Kenya’s s 60 Years of Diplomacy as well as several Strategic Publications. This culminated in the release of the 2024 Yearbook named Alakara. Under Ms. Kimeto’s leadership, the institution has also prioritized capacity building of its Human Capital under her Mantra Feel Valued. Ms. Kimeto believes in growing skill sets and empowering employees to not only strengthening operational capabilities by develop a highly skilled workforce with skills for the current and future of work. She has fostered collaborations between Yearbook and other Government Agencies. She has been instrumental in developing the Kenya Yearbook Partnership and Resource Mobilization Policy alongside eight (8) other Policies for different functional areas. This is In line with her quest to put structure to every functional area in an organization to improve efficiency and compliance with the laws of the land. Ms. Kimeto’s Vision is summed up in;

1. Feeling values by employees

2. Leveraging technology for efficiency

3. Creating a network of Corporate friends to build required resources and

4. Being innovative in corporate Governance.
